Lan Ha Bay sits to the East of Cat Ba Island and adjacent to Ha Long Bay. This is a tranquil and less touristy area with around 400 big and small islands. Especially, all islands and islets in Lan Ha Bay are covered in lush green vegetation.

In comparison to Halong Bay and Bai Tu Long Bay, Lan Ha Bay is least known, however, it is considered as one of the most beautiful bays in Vietnam. Lan Ha Bay has 139 small golden and deserted sands alluring tourists to explore. The most famous attractions in Lan Ha Bay are Luon Cave, Van Gia Floating Fishing Village, Nam Cat Island, Monkey Island, Van Boi Beach, Rua Island, etc.

Many beautiful beaches in the Bay stretching between majestic mountains are absolutely ideal for swimming. A few even offers opportunities for scuba-diving or snorkeling to admire colorful coral reefs.
