Full day Elephant Experience including the Trail of Falls (FDE)

8:30 am – 9:00 am: Depart your Hotel. Pick up by our English speaking guide

Arrival at the Elephant Village Camp: Welcome greeting by our camp manager and participate in short briefing about elephants
Ride the Elephant: From the Elephant Camp, cross the Nam Khan River and ride along local village gardens, teak plantations and natural forest to the Elephant jungle camp (approximately 5 km). Ride on the howdah (elephant seat) or on your elephant’s neck

Lunch: Your lunch will be provided at the Elephant Village Restaurant (Buffet lunch served with Coffee or Tea and drinking water)

Short trekking along the Trail of Falls: Enjoy a mild trek (approximately 3 km) along a natural, crystal clear stream flowing down from the mountains which feeds the Tad Sae Waterfall. The water cascades over multilevel limestone formations forming pools surrounded by unique tropical vegetation (prepare to get wet: bring a towel, sandals, shorts and/or swimsuit)

Visit the Tad Sae Waterfall: Walking down the Trail of Falls you eventually arrive at the Tad Sae Waterfall. The perfect place for relaxing, before heading back to the Elephant Camp.

Short boat trip: Traverse the Nam Khan river in a traditional Lao long boat from the waterfall back to the Elephant Camp (approximately 10 min)

Depart: Transfer back to your Hotel approximately between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm

Note: Elephant Village reserves the right to break larger groups into smaller groups and/or operate tour activities in a different order than published above if the conditions of the day require it.
